The Early Years

Growing up in Astoria, Queens, New York helped shape Michelle Delino's view of a richly diverse world with infinite opportunities. From her first part-time jobs as a student, working for a boutique brokerage firm and as a hotel sales associate, she picked up invaluable experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, and accounting, all of which helped her do well in school and land the job of her dreams with HBO upon graduating from college.

NYC to DC

Michelle moved to the Washington, DC metro area in 1991 and began her freelance career as a field producer for E!, HBO Entertainment News, Entertainment Tonight and Inside Edition. In 1994 she accepted a position as staff producer at WUSA-TV, Washington’s CBS affiliate. There she worked on a live morning program, Broadcast House Live, and a news magazine show, 9 News Primetime, a show that earned her a local Emmy award.

Her passions

Michelle enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends, especially her teenage son. She loves being outdoors, preferably near water or hiking a wooded trail. She is a devoted yogi and practices daily, taking the ancient teachings off the mat and into her everyday life. In her spare time, Michelle loves to cook and entertain, and she enjoys balcony gardening, nature photography, fashion and design. And above all she enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle, mind and body.
